Hello everyone! This is Lizzy, Rachael and me... it is 11:01 Wed. night and we were looking at blogs and facebooks and decided that our blog was quick repulsive to look at so we changed it (sorry Chels). Anyways, life is good, can't wait for baby Van in only 34 short days!!!!! Kate, i love feeling baby V do flips in your belly. It is quite active already - can't imagine what it will grow up to be... maybe a gymnast??????
Liz is now talking to Luke on the phone as always. I love it, but just not at 11:30 when i'm trying to go to bed. Wedding plans for liz are going well. Liz and i had a 'girls night' last night and sat at the kitchen table trying to decide what we felt up to doing. We both get so tired at the end of the day but love just 'catching-up' and giving massages (while chewing lizzy's stash of fruity gum). I am still training for the Shamrock half-marathon run with Jenni & Jessi Hunt and Heather Wood. Keep it up gals, it's almost here. We are leaving for Ohio in two days for Nan's Memorial Service. I miss her so much but i am so grateful that she gets to be with our Savior... I am jealous!
Rachael is studying for her Nationals next month. She is doing great. In fact, i think she wants to practice on me tonight!!!!!!!!
The Lord is teaching me many things these last few months and i am so blessed to have family and friends that love and care for me during these crazy times.
Well, this post is only going to get more random and interesting if i keep writing-happens when it's late at night and girls, aka, (Rach and i) get their second wind. I have work in the morning so i must go but hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their new year. LOVE from us three

p.s. Luke, layout in the bright Florida sun for me =) Can't wait to see you in April!

316 'New York' Christmas

hosted by the seniors of '09

Lindsey, Jess, Reaghan, me and Beth

1 Corinthians 2:9-12

"However, as it is written:

'No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who LOVE him'

but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches ALL things, even the deep things of God.
For who among men knows the thoughts of a man
except the man's spirit within him?
In the SAME way no one knows the thoughts of God except the
Spirit of God.
We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God,
the we may UNDERSTAND what God has FREELY given us"

The Lord has great things in store this NEW YEAR!

Happy Birthday to Melissa Joy

Happy Birthday to you dear friend!

I am so grateful for you. There is so much I could say, that I'm not sure where to start. Thanks, first off, for being my faithful and true friend for close to 11 years... I think??? So many treasured memories flood my thoughts as I recount the times we've spent together. Just a few of them include: dress-up (prairie style) ALL day, "Writing with Amanda", baby sitting class, drivers ed., sewing class with Aunt Linda, doing school while laying in the sun, wiping frog pee on you after trying to impress you by picking one up, Point of Grace, "SunShineSingers", seeing who could eat more animal crackers the fastest, getting soo nervous before singing at the Tides Games, riding bikes, making soupy, homemade ice cream, baking cookies with a 1/2 cup of salt, co-creating the "Slim Jim Moment" with Mag and Nel, PROC at Celebration years ago (Hehehe) all these are such wonderful memories.
Mel, you have proven to be a faithful friend in the way that we haven't always felt as close as we do now. I truly want to thank you for following the Lord's prompting you a while back and for not growing lazy in your pursuit of our friendship or battle of sin. The Lord is a Redeeming and merciful God and I know that we have only grown closer as the result of being diligent to work through things with the help of our parents and Savior.
Thanks for always being genuine with me, for dropping everything to pray for me over the phone, for speaking such wisdom into my life, for letting me wear your pajamas every time i forget mine when i spend the night... which is every time, and for your consistent joy, patience and trust in the Lord. I have learned a lot about what it means to Love the Lord and seek him daily with a passion from watching you. All these things mean so much to me.
Love you tons and happy 20th birthday girl!!!
P.S. This song will always remind me of you haha

Procrastination to physics to parties to coke to santa to bed, who knows what this post is about?

What do you do when it is 1:00 am, and you still have loads of homework? I post. Yes, this post is a confession of my ridiculous habit of procrastinating, which I am doing right now. So for the past few weeks everything that was not due the next day was put off to be done "some other time". Now the semester is ending and guess who is finding out when "some other time" is? Mhhmm. Also Jap told me I had to post and even though this is probably boring it's better than hearing about physics, precalc, or english, which would really be about my inability to write. Are there any colleges that don't require writing classes? I'm there. Oh, or I could post about a time we have tried to work on the 316 christmas party. It can be pretty funny... at least to me. We have made progress but there is alot more to be done. One thing I love about Christmas is when you buy a bottle of Coke( actual Coca-Cola if there was any confusion) and there on the bottle are snow flakes and Santa Clause, gotta love it. Alright this is a bit rambly, I don't really want to do my math homework. This post kinda proves how bad I am about procrastinating. Ok, time to hit the bed(is that a real expression?) no wait time to hit the books. I think I am making things up. I gotta stop. I'll post soon. (Yeah right, don't I always say that)~Chels
