Only 1 more day to go Kate! I can't believe it's here. I am so happy for you and I have enjoyed watching you throughout this whole process. I remember counting down the months, then the weeks, and then the days everyday at work with you. Kate, you are a wonderful example to me... You were calm when you heard of different glitches along the planning process and you asked for prayer on a number of different occasions. Thanks you for your humility, It's very provoking to me. By the way, you look stunning in your "WHITE" dress...just incase

SHAMROCK 8k

My KK and I went on the Yuengling Shamrock 8k Run at the boardwalk Sat. morning. We stayed up pretty late the night before hanging out together then got up at 6:30 sat morning. We left in plenty time to start the run at 8:00 AM but unfortunately, we had the hardest time finding a parking spot. It was crowded and as we ran from street to street, we heard the national anthem being sung and the race begin without us. :( We finally reached 33rd st., the STARTING LINE  ( Yeah!!!) The only problem was that we not only missed part of the race, at the beginning, where all the runners and joggers arrange themselves in the front of the mob and the walkers position themselves at the rear, but we were dead last to start. Kinda embarrassing cause we were all decked out in our St. Patrick sweat outfits and everyone was cheering us on. It was hard for us to weave through thousands of people without running into every other person, but once we finally made our way past the excited walkers, it was so fun to run in the middle of such a huge crowd and enjoy the beauty of the sunrise and scenic view of the sand and rippling waves. We didn't do too bad either... we ran it in about 45 min.

I crossed the finish line about 2 min after Kate and there was a big food and beer stand to celebrate our hard work...we decided to go to starbucks for some hot coffee instead. MMMM... it tasted sooo good

 

After the race, we asked this lady to take our picture... I handed her my camera, but what I didn't know was that I had it on Record. She tried time and again to take the picture but couldn't understand why it wasn't working. Katy and I laughed so hard after watching these videos.

Saturday Morning Shopping

Today my Mom went to MacArthur mall to look for clothes so the four of us girls tagged along. We had so much fun looking at all of the spring stuff even though we didn't buy anything. The pics were taken in For Love 21, one of our favorite stores!We discovered that we aren't good at taking pictures of ourselves (thus the lack thereof). We also found some very interesting people:) Mary was making us laugh so hard because everytime we would see "them" she would quickly start walking in the opposite direction saying "o dear, o dear". It was great being able to spend a few hours with each other. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

We had to try on some of the bling. We also tried on lots of sunglasses, but forgot to take pictures.

"A SLUMBERLESS slumber party"

We had a sleepover Friday night and it was a BLAST! We...ate...ate...ate...played games, talked a ton and decided who each girl would be if they were a Disney Princess. Oh, and yeah, we had a physical fitness contest. Arm wrestling, push-ups, wall sits, pull-ups and weight lifting...not your typical "girls night" excepting the fact that some of us stayed up till 6:00 AM. (don't tell the moms). Anyway, thanks gals for making such a fun memory with us, we (Chelsea and Jacquelyn) feel so blessed to have such great friends!

We could hardly be competitive because we were laughing so much!!!
